∫ The available flash range to take pictures

•

The available flash range is an approximation.

¢1 When [ISO LIMIT SET] is set to [AUTO].

¢2 Recording with zoom magnification of up to 4k is possible. Pictures recorded with Tele may

be darker than normal.

•In [HIGH SENS.] (P83) in Scene Mode, the ISO sensitivity automatically switches to between

[ISO1600] and [ISO6400] and the available flash range also differs.

Wide: Approx. 1.15 m (3.77 feet) to approx. 14.9 m (48.9 feet)

Tele: Approx. 1.0 m (3.28 feet) to approx. 5.6 m (18.4 feet)

•In [FLASH BURST] (P84) in Scene Mode, the ISO sensitivity automatically switches to

between [ISO100] and [ISO3200] and the available flash range also differs.

Wide: Approx. 60 cm (1.97 feet) to approx. 5.1 m (16.7 feet)

Tele: Approx. 1.0 m (3.28 feet) to approx. 1.9 m (6.23 feet)

∫ Adjust the flash output

Adjust the flash output when the subject is small, or the reflectivity is very high or low.

1 Touch [ ], and then touch [ ].

2 Adjust the flash output by touching the slide bar.

•

You can adjust from [j2 EV] to [i2 EV] in steps of [1/3 EV].

• Select [0 EV] to return to the original flash output.

3 Touch [SET] to finish.

4 Touch [CANCEL] to finish.

•

You can also press the shutter button halfway to finish.

Note

•

When the flash output is adjusted, the flash output value is displayed on the screen.

•The flash output setting is memorized even if the camera is turned off.

•You cannot set [FLASH] in the following cases.

–In Intelligent Auto Mode

–In [SCENERY], [PANORAMA ASSIST], [NIGHT SCENERY], [HANDHELD NIGHT SHOT],

[SUNSET], [FLASH BURST], [STARRY SKY], [FIREWORKS] and [AERIAL PHOTO] in
