Connect the AC mains lead after all other
connections are complete.

You can reduce the power consumed in
standby mode by turning the demo function
off.
If you set the clock ( page 32), the demo
function will turn off automatically.
When disconnecting the AC mains lead
1 Press [POWER 8]

[8] .
2 Disconnect after “GOODBYE”
disappears from the display.

Never short-circuit positive (+) and negative (–) speaker wires.
Incorrect connection can damage the speakers.
READ THE CAUTION FOR THE AC MAINS
LEAD ON PAGE 4 BEFORE CONNECTION.
Insertion of Connector
Even when the connector is perfectly inserted,
depending on the type of inlet used, the front part of the
connector may jut out as shown in the drawing.
However there is no problem using the unit.

If the speaker cords have vinyl tips, twist
the vinyl tip and pull off.
Confirm the colors of the tags on the
ends of the cords.
For White tags, connect to grey terminals.
For Blue, Black and Red tags, connect so tag colors match the
terminal colors.
