Editing still pictures
When the card is write-protected (page 12) or the disc is protected
(pages 37, 74), you cannot access “Copy”/“Copy all of card”/
“Erase”/“Protect/Releasing protection”/“Print (DPOF)”/“Format”.
Release the protection to use these functions.
Copy
[SD/CARD] [RAM]
You can copy the whole folder or selected still pictures to card or
DVD-RAM. (maximum of 300 folders, 3000 files)
After performing steps 1 to 2 of “Displaying still pictures
(Album Display)” (page 50), perform the following steps:
3 Select the copy source folder. (page 49, “Selecting the
drive and the folder”)
4 Use [3, 4] (10) to select “Copy” and press
[ENTER] (10).
(a)Folder that is selected currently
5 Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “Folder” or still
picture you wish to copy and press [ENTER] (10).
Repeat this if you copy more than one still pictures.
ª To select still pictures one by one
Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select a still picture and press
[ENTER] (10). (A check mark appears on the still picture.)
ª To select all the still pictures in the folder
Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “Folder” and press [ENTER]
(10). (A check mark appears on the folder’s name; check
marks inputted separately will be erased.)
To cancel check marks :
Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select the folder or still picture with
the check mark and press [ENTER] (10).
6 Use [3, 4, 2, 1] (10) to select “Copy” and press
[ENTER] (10).
7 Select the destination drive.
While the confirmation screen is displayed,
(1) Use [3, 4] (10) to select “Destination” and press
[ENTER] (10).
(2) Use [2, 3, 4] (10) to select the drive.
(3) Use [1, 3, 4] (10) to select the folder and press
[ENTER] (10).
Some folders (page 12) cannot be copied to.
8 Use [4, 2, 1] (10) to select “Copy” and press
[ENTER] (10).
Copying still pictures begins.
ª To stop partway through
Select “Cancel” in step 8 and press [ENTER] (10).
Or
Press [RETURN] (28).
For your reference
When there is no folder in the destination drive, a new folder will
be created.
When there is a folder in the destination drive, copying will
continue from the last of the existing still pictures.
When copying a folder, any files in the folder besides the still
pictures are also copied.
Folders lower than the folder to be copied will not be copied.
If the space on the destination drive runs out or the number of
files/folders to be copied exceeds the maximum, copying will stop
partway through.
If no title has been entered for the folder at the destination drive,
the title from the copying source will be entered. It is
recommended that the title is entered at the copying source.
After copying, it may take some time to download the copying
source information.
Print (DPOF) number setting (page 53) is not transferred.
