Playing SD cards
While stopped, the unit automatically turns off once 15 minutes (after approximately 5 minutes when
using the battery pack) have elapsed.
If you are experiencing problems, refer to troubleshooting guide (page 36).
Do not remove the card or turn off the unit while the card is being read from (“Card Reading…”
is on the display) or the unit is using the card. This can corrupt your data.

Play begins automatically.

Insert the card.
Press on the center
of the card until it
clicks into place.
Cut-off corner
If you are using a miniSD

card, insert it into the miniSD
TM
card adaptor that comes with
the card. Insert and remove
this adaptor from the unit.

Close the cover.

Press to display
“SD Card Menu”.
VOLUME
You can use SD Memory Cards with capacities from 8 MB to 2 GB ( page 11).
When you insert a SD card while the unit is on, playback starts automatically.

[AV SELECT] several times until “SD” is displayed.

Play begins.

[SD\VIDEO] Adjust the volume.
When playing a SD card that contain both “Picture” and
“Video ” content, “Picture” content will be played first.
