Control Panel

- Used to enter a pause when recording or

dialing a telephone number, or to redial

the last dialed number.

- Used to start Abbreviated Dialing.

- Used to separate the Sub-Address from

the telephone number

- Used to start On-Hook Dialing. (See page 57)

- Used to switch the machine into energy saving mode. (See page 38)

- Used to set Normal, Lighter or Darker. (See page 42)

- Used to set Standard, Fine, Super-Fine or Halftone. (See page 42)

- Used to turn the verification stamp On or OFF.

Lights when the verification stamp is set to ON.

- Blinks when the machine is transmitting a document or receiving.

- Lights when trouble occurs.

Keypad

- Used for manual number dialing,

recording phone numbers, and

numerical entries.

Tone Key

- Used to temporarily change the

dialing mode to Tone when Pulse

mode is set.
