Cassette tapes

1 Press [± OPEN], insert a cassette with the

tape facing in.

When the button is pressed, the unit comes on

automatically. Make sure the cassette is fully inserted

and close the lid by hand.

2 Press [TAPE ►] to start piayback.

One side is played, then playback stops automatically.

To play on the other side of the tape, turn the tape over

and press [TAPE ►].

3 Adjust the voiume.

To stop tape piayback

Press [STOP«,-DEMO].

One-touch piay

When the system is OFF and a tape is already inserted, play

starts automatically when you press [TAPE ►].

Cassette tape seiection and care

Use normal position tapes.

Fligh position and metal position tapes can be played, but

the unit will not be able to do full justice to the characteristics

of these tapes.

• Tapes exceeding 100 minutes are thin and can break or

get caught in the mechanism.

• Tape slack can get caught up in the mechanism and

should be wound up before the tape is played.

• Failure to operate endless tapes correctly may cause the

tape to wind around the revolving parts. Always read the

instructions provided with your tapes.
