Basic operation (Base unit)
Feature Operation
Adjusting the speaker volume
Press {^} or {V} repeatedly while talking.
Viewing the caller list and
calling back

2 Press {V} to search from the most recent call, or {^} to
search from the oldest call.

Ringer volume 1 {MENU} i {#}{1}{6}{0}
2 Select the desired line.
3 Select the desired volume. i {SET} i {STOP}
Answering call-waiting call
(2nd call)
Press {CALL WAIT} when you hear call waiting tone.
Answering system (Base unit)

Auto answer on/off 1 Press {LINE SELECT} repeatedly to select the desired
line(s).

Recording your greeting
message
(max. 2 minutes)
1 {MENU} i A i {SET}
2 Greeting recordi {SET}
3 Select the desired line. i {SET}
4 After the unit beeps, speak clearly about 20 cm (8
inches) away from the MIC (max. 2 minutes).
5 To stop recording, press {STOP}.
6 Press {STOP} when finished.
Listening to new messages When the {MESSAGE} button flashes on the base unit,
press {MESSAGE}.
Listening to old messages When the {MESSAGE} button does not flash on the base
unit, press {MESSAGE}.
Erasing a message Press {ERASE} during playback.
Using the answering
system remotely
1 Dial your phone number from a touch tone phone.
2 After the greeting message starts, enter your remote
code. (Default remote code is “11”.)
L The unit plays back new messages including memo
messages.

After playing back new messages, the voice guidance starts.
3 Follow the voice guidance as necessary.
