The lightning flash with arrow
head symbol, within an equilat
eral triangle, is intended to alert
the user to the presence of
uninsulated "dangerous volt
age" within the product's enclo
sure that may be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk
of electric shock to persons.
SA 1966
The exclamation point within an
equilateral triangle is intended to
alert the user to the presence of
important operating and mainte
nance (servicing) instructions in the
literature accompanying the appli
ance.
