Easy Setting
After connecting your new player and pressing the standby/on button, a screen will appear and you will be prompted to perform setup for the basic
settings. Please follow the guide and perform setup.

Remote control setting
You can configure the TV operation buttons on the remote control to turn the television on or set to standby mode, change the television input
mode, and change the television channel and volume.
Change the remote control code on the main unit and the remote control (the two must match) if you place other Panasonic products close
together. Use “1”, the factory set code, under normal circumstances.
Preparation
Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input on the
television.
1 Press [Í BD].
Setup screen appears.
2 Follow the on-screen instructions and make the
settings with [3, 4, 2, 1] and [ENTER].
“Language”
§
, “TV Aspect” and “Speaker” are set. You can also
change their settings individually (“Display” and “Connection” tab
22, 23).
You can perform this setup anytime
by selecting “Easy Setting” in
Setup menu ( 23, “Others” tab).

“Language” can only be selected in
the United Kingdom, Republic of
Ireland and Continental European
models.
Setting the television operation
Point the remote control at the television.
1 While pressing [RETURN], enter the code with the numbered
buttons.
e.g., 01: [0] [1]
2 Test by turning on the television and changing channels.
If your television brand has more than
one code listed, select the one that
allows correct operation.
If your television brand is not listed or
if the code listed for your television
does not allow control of your
television, this remote control is not
compatible with your television. Use
the television’s remote control.

When other Panasonic products respond to this remote control
1 Press [SETUP].
2 Press [3, 4] to select “Others” and press [1].
3 Press [3, 4] to select “Remote Control” and press [ENTER].
4 Press [3, 4] to select the code (1, 2, or 3)
and press [ENTER].
5 To change the code on the remote control
While pressing [ENTER], press and hold
the numbered button ([1], [2] or [3]) for
more than 2 seconds.
6 Press [ENTER].
When the following indicator
appears on the unit’s display and
you are unable to operate the unit
Press and hold [ENTER] and the
indicated
number button at the
same time for more than 2
seconds.
