Recording

Recording takes place in the following order of

priority:

Keyword Recording may not work in some cases.

To avoid recording failure, we recommend using

Timer Recording instead of Keyword Recording.

Changing the recording method

Select the programme marked “

F” (Blue), then

press the red button on the Keyword Recording

status screen or TV Guide screen. (> 38)

• If you press the red button selecting the

programme marked “

F” (Red), “Timer Rec

Edit” (> 35) or “Timer Rec Cancel” is available.

You can also set keywords from

[FUNCTION MENU].

By default, the unit automatically deletes titles

recorded with Keyword Recording after 10 days

Perform the following not to delete them as

necessary. (> 43)

- Protect titles.

- Change Delete Settings.

- Remove titles from “Keyword Record”.

- Copy titles before deleting them.

Priority order of Keyword Recording

1 A programme that is already being recorded

2 Timer Recording

3 A programme with a smaller keyword

number (1 to 16)

4 A programme that starts first

• Programmes set for timer recordings are not treated as

Keyword Recording programmes.

Displaying the Keyword List

1 Press [FUNCTION MENU].

2 Select “Keyword Recording”, then press [OK].

The programme including keyword is searched every day and timer registration is carried out automatically.

To add/edit the Keyword

Select the Keyword and press [OK], then

make required settings.

• Refer to “Keyword Recording” (> 38)

To deactivate the Keyword Recording

Select the Keyword, then press the red button.

• Press again to return back to the Keyword

Recording standby.

To search programmes matched with any

of the registered keywords

Press the yellow button.

To play programmes recorded with

Keyword Recording

Press the green button.

• Refer to “Playing Keyword Recording titles”

(> 43)

To delete the registered Keyword

1 Select the Keyword, then press [DEL].

2 Select “Yes”, then press [OK].

To change the recording priority of

keywords

• Refer to “Priority order of Keyword

Recording” (> 39)

1 Press [OPTION].

2 Select “Change Priority”, then press [OK].

3 Press [3, 4] to shift the position, then

press [OK].
