Items shown differ depending on the type of software.

Audio

Motion picture

Press [e r] to select the soundtrack.

VCD

Press [e r] to select “L”, “R”, “L4R”or “L R”.

Subtitle

Discs with subtitles

Press [e r] to select the subtitle language or “OFF”.

On 4R/4RW, a subtitle number may be shown for

subtitles that are not displayed.

Angle

DVD-V

with multiple angles

Press [e r] to select the angle.

Repeat

(Only when the elapsed play time can be displayed.

JPEG

you can use even if there is no elapsed time display.)

1. Press [e r] to select an item to be repeated.

2. A-B repeat only

Press [ENTER] at the starting and ending points.

Press [ENTER] again to cancel.•

Press [e r] to select “ON”.

If you have set “VIDEO OUT (I/P)” to “PROGRESSIVE”

(è page 13, “VIDEO” tab), press [e r] to select the

method of conversion for progressive output to suit the

type of material.

When the tray is opened, the setting will return to AUTO1.

AUTO1 (normal): Automatically detects the lm and video

content, and appropriately converts it.

AUTO2: In addition to AUTO1, automatically detects

lm contents with different frame rates and

appropriately converts it.

VIDEO: Select when using AUTO1 and AUTO2, and the

content is distorted.

Picture

mode

Press [e r] to select the mode.

NORMAL: Normal images.

CINEMA1:

Mellows images and enhances detail in dark scenes.

CINEMA2:

Sharpens images and enhances detail in dark scenes.

DYNAMIC: Enhances the contrast for powerful images.

ANIMATION: Suitable for animation.
