Base Unit Settings

Selecting the Dialling Mode (Tone/Pulse)

You can change the dialling mode to tone or pulse depending upon your network

service. If you have a touch tone service, select “Tone”. If you have rotary or pulse

service, select “Pulse”.

• The factory preset is “Tone”.

Selecting the Flash/Earth Mode

An earth relay can be installed as an option depending on your PBX requirements.

Please consult your nearest Panasonic Service Centre for installation. On installation,

you can select the flash or earth mode to suit your PBX or Telephone company.

• The factory preset is “Flash”.

• “Type 1”: 100 ms, “Type 2”: 600 ms, “Type 3”: 300 ms. The factory preset is “Type

2”.

Selecting the Pause Time

You can select the pause time to 3 or 5 seconds, depending on your PBX requirements.

• The factory preset is “Short”.

Follow steps 1 to 4 of Call Options on the previous page, then:

Select “Dial Mode”.

Select “Tone” or “Pulse”.

Follow steps 1 to 4 of Call Options on the previous page, then:

Select “Recall”.

Select “Flash” or “Earth”.

When “Flash” was selected;

Select the desired flash type (see below).

Follow steps 1 to 4 of Call Options on the previous page, then:

Select “Pause Time”.

Select “Short” (3 sec.) or “Long” (5 sec.).
