How to Record the Date and Time

During Recording

[T] How to Set the Date and Time

For example:

To set the clock to 15th October 1996, 12:30.

1 Turn out the [POWER] Switch.

(The Movie Camera switches on.)

2 Press the [DATE/TIME] Button.

•The Date Indication appears.

3 Keep pressing the [SHIFT] Button until

the “Year” portion flashes.

4 Press the [SET] Button to set to “1996”.

5 Press the [SHIFT] Button to make the

“Month” portion flash.

6 Press the [SET] Button to set to “10”.

7 Press the [SHIFT] Button to make the

“Day” portion flash.

8 Press the [SET] Button to set to “15”.

0 Press the [SHIFT] Button to make the

“Hour” portion flash.

1 0 Press the [SET] Button to set to “12”.

1 1 Press the [SHIFT] Button to make the

“Minute” portion flash.

1 2 Press the [SET] Button to set to “30”.

13 Press the [SHIFT] Button.

•The operation of the clock starts.

When you keep pressing the [SET] Button, the figures

change more quickly.
