Convenient functions

Press and hold to change the time faster.
The time is set and the original display is restored.
To display the clock
When the unit is on, press [CLOCK/TIMER].
When the unit is off, press [DISPLAY, –DIMMER].
To st op partway
Press [g STOP].
Note
This is a 12-hour clock ( )
or 24-hour clock ( ).
Reset the clock regularly to maintain accuracy.
If you set the clock, the demo function will turn off automatically.
If there is a power failure or the plug is disconnected from the AC mains socket, set this
again.
(When disc, card or tape is selected as the source and the unit is stopped)
The unit turns off to save power if it is left unused for 10 minutes.
Press and hold [SLEEP, –AUTO OFF] until “AUTO OFF” is
displayed.
Every time you press the button:
AUTO OFF v SCREEN SAVER (Auto off cancel) ( page 12)
This function does not work if the source is tuner or AUX.
This timer turns the unit off after a set time.
While enjoying the desired source:
Press [SLEEP, –AUTO OFF] to select the time (minutes).
Every time you press the button:
To cancel the sleep timer
Press [SLEEP, –AUTO OFF] to select “SLEEP OFF”.
To confirm the remaining time
Press [SLEEP, –AUTO OFF] once.
The remaining time is shown for about 5 seconds.
You can use the sleep timer in combination with the play/record timer.
Make sure the unit is off before the play/record timer’s start time.
