Recording
Depending on the scene that is automatically identified, it may be possible to select from a
number of different image effects (filters) automatically recommended by the camera, with
reference to example images. (Only available when [Recommended Filter] on the
recording menu is set to [ON]. At the time of purchase, this setting is [ON].)

Touch the [ ], which is automatically
displayed after automatic detection.
The selection screen for camera-recommended effects is
displayed.

Touch the example image to select image
effects (filters).
The image effect of the selected example image will be
applied in a preview display

Touch [Set].
The Creative Control Mode for the selected image effect is set.
[ ] is displayed on the recording screen. Touch to return to
Intelligent Auto ( or ) Mode.
The same operation can be performed by pressing the [
¦]
button.
When using a recommended filter, you cannot use menus or
recording functions not available in Creative Control Mode.
