Editing programs

[RAM] [DVD-R]

5 Press [2] to select “Erase” and press

[ENTER].

The program is erased.

[Note]

≥The disc’s available recording time may not increase after erasing

short programs.

≥Computer data cannot be erased.

≥The available recording time on DVD-R does not increase when

you erase programs.

Program information (e.g., time and date) is shown.

[RAM]

If set, this will protect the program from accidental erasure.

5 Press [2] to set protection and press

[ENTER].

The lock symbol appears when the program is write-

protected.

Common procedures

Preparation

Release protection before proceeding with “Erase Program”,

“Enter Title”, “Protection”, “Shorten Segment” or “Divide

Program”. [RAM]

(Cartridge ➡ page 8, disc ➡ page 32)

1 Press [DIRECT NAVIGATOR].

2 Press [3, 4] to select the program.

You can also select programs with the numbered buttons.

e.g., “5”: [0] ➡ [5]

3 Press [1] so the submenu appears.

4 Press [3, 4] to select the item and

press [ENTER].

To clear the program list

Press [DIRECT NAVIGATOR].

To stop set up process

Press [RETURN].
