Replacing the Battery

CAUTION

Remove the screw with a screwdriver.

● THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS A LITHIUM BATTERY. REPLACE ONLY WITH THE SAME OR EQUIVALENT TYPE.

IMPROPER USE OR REPLACEMENT MAY CAUSE OVERHEATING, RUPTURE OR EXPLOSION RESULTING IN

INJURY OR FIRE. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS OF YOUR LOCAL

SOLID WASTE OFFICIALS AND LOCAL REGULATIONS.

● Be sure to use the specified type of battery only.

● Ensure that the battery is installed with correct polarity.

Replacing the Battery

The machine has an internal battery (Product No. CR2032) which maintains the date and time.

When the battery requires replacement, the Status button turns from grey to yellow. (See page 61)

If the status indicates the replacement of the battery, replace it by the following procedures.

The service life of the battery is approximately 1 year under normal use.
