To set the recording time
1 Select “Recording Time” or “Continuous recording”
in step .
2Press [OK].
≥ One recording will terminate when simultaneous recording
is being done and timer recording starts.
≥ When “Automatic Standby after OTR” is set to “On”
(> 101), this unit is turned to standby mode if this unit is
not operated for approximately 5 minutes after completing
“Automatic Stop” or “Recording Time” (> above).
≥ The SD quality programme can not be converted to HD
quality.
¾ To convert the recording mode after recording
in DR mode (> 55)
¾ Recording modes and approximate recording
times (> 19, 124)
∫ Recording mode conversion
Conversion will be performed after the unit is
turned off in a time slot for which no timer
recording is set. It will take about the same time as
the recorded duration.
¾ To confirm whether the conversion is
completed (> 55)
¾ To cancel a conversion (> 55, To cancel a
“During standby” conversion)
Select “Automatic Stop”,
then press .
≥One touch recording (OTR)
Recording stops automatically when the
programme ends.
≥You can also select “Recording Time” or
“Continuous recording”. (> below)

≥ The title before conversion (the title recorded in DR
mode) will be deleted once the conversion is
completed.
≥ When the HDD does not have enough remaining time,
conversion will not start.
≥ This function is stopped when this unit is turned on.
Conversion will start from the beginning again once the
unit is turned off.

When converted, audio language, Audio Description,
audio track, multi channel audio and subtitle will be
converted with the same settings as at the start of
recording.
