Insert a video cassette and a disc.

Use REC MODE to select the recording mode.
!
Select the desired starting position for VHS.
Video cassettes can be copied to
DVD-RAM and unfinalised DVD-R/-RW. The copying of DVD-Video or
finalised DVD-R/-RW to VHS is possible.
Recording is cancelled in the case of copy-protected media.
With this function, you can copy directly from VHS to
DVD or from DVD to VHS.

Switch DVD and VHS to stop mode.
!
Press VHS or DVD DUBBING. START blinks in the unit display.
!
Press and hold VHS or DVD DUBBING for approx. 3 seconds.
The START display turns off and the dubbing procedure starts.
!
To cancel the dubbing procedure, press STOP or RETURN for
3 seconds.

Use to select the desired title and confirm with ENTER.

Press STOP to activate the title for Dubbing.
!
Use RETURN to exit the menu.
You can select the DVD start position in DIRECT NAVIGATOR or in
PLAYLISTS
!
Press FUNCTIONS, confirm DIRECT NAVIGATOR with ENTER,
or with To Others ENTER PLAYLISTS ENTER.

You can not execute the dubbing procedure while the DVD
or VHS unit is in standby mode for the TIMER-controlled
recordings. Cancel the standby mode.
When copying from DVD to VHS or VHS to DVD, use AUDIO to
select the desired channel for dual channel sound.

Start the playback.

Press PAUSE where you want to start
recording.

Use REC MODE to select the recording mode.

Use INPUT SELECT to select the TP channel.
!
Press REC to start recording.
!
Use STOP to stop recording.
!
Start the desired title.
!
Press PAUSE where you want to start
recording.
!
Use REC MODE to select the recording mode.
!
Use INPUT SELECT to select the DC channel.
!
Press PLAY . Press PAUSE where you
want to start the recording.
!
Press REC.
!
Then press PAUSE to start recording.
!
Use STOP to stop recording.
No other functions are possible during the copy procedure. When copying
from DVD to VHS, recording starts at the beginning of the title.

When copying from DVD to VHS, the index signal for each
title is recorded automatically.
When copying from VHS to DVD, the title is automatically
created for each index signal.
