Deleting titles

≥A title cannot be restored once it is deleted. Make certain

before proceeding.

≥You cannot delete while recording.

≥[RAM]

When a recorded title is deleted the available disc space will

increase by the amount deleted.

≥[-RW‹V›] [+RW]

Disc space increases only when the last recorded title is deleted.

≥[-R] [-R]DL] [+R] [+R]DL]

Available space does not increase even after deletion.

Preparation

≥Turn on the television and select the appropriate video input to suit

the connections to this unit.

≥Turn the unit on.

≥Press [THEATER] to switch the remote control to operate this unit.

≥Press [DVD] to select the DVD drive.

≥Insert the disc (➡ 10).

≥[RAM] Release protection (➡ 30).

1 While stopped

Press [FUNCTIONS].

2 Press [3, 4] to select “Delete” and

press [ENTER].

3 Press [3, 4, 2, 1] to select the

title and press [ENTER].

4 Press [2, 1] to select “Delete” and

press [ENTER].

To return to the previous screen

Press [RETURN].

To exit the screen

Press [RETURN] several times.

1 During playback of the title you want to delete

Press [DELETE].

2 Press [2, 1] to select “Delete” and

press [ENTER].



Using DELETE Navigator to delete titles

To show other pages

Press [3, 4, 2, 1] to select “Previous” or “Next” and

press [ENTER].

≥You can also press [:, 9] to show other pages.

Multiple deleting

Select with [3, 4, 2, 1] and press [;]. (Repeat.)

≥A check mark appears. Press [;] again to cancel.
