Setting the Time Code
Time code will display the recording time in hours, minutes, seconds, and frames.
TC 00:00:00:00 (hour : minute : second : frame [NDF])
TC 00:00:00.00 (hour : minute : second . frame [DF])
The number of frames (frame count per second) varies depending on the frame rate in
[REC FORMAT]. (l 139)
Select the compensation mode for the time code.
Set [SYSTEM FREQ] to [59.94Hz(NTSC)]. (l 159)
When the frame rate in [REC FORMAT] is 24p or during Time Lapse Recording, this item will be
set to [NDF] automatically.
This item will be automatically set to [NDF] and will not be displayed as a menu item when
[SYSTEM FREQ] is set to [50Hz(PAL)]. (l 159)
Sets the way the time code will move.
* If the frame rate in [REC FORMAT] is set to 24p, a slight time error may occur when switching to
Playback Mode.
It is automatically set to [FREE RUN] when PRE-REC is enabled or [2 SLOTS FUNC.] (l 143) is
set to [BACKGROUND].
It is automatically set to [REC RUN] when it is during the Interval Recording.

50p/50i/25p 0 to 24
60p/60i/30p 0 to 29
24p 0 to 23
[TC MODE]
: [TC/UB SETUP] # [TC MODE] # desired setting
[DF]: Time code is compensated in accordance with the actual time. It is
mainly used for broadcasting such as TV programs.
[NDF]: It will not compensate the time code. (There will be a difference from
the actual time)
[TCG]
: [TC/UB SETUP] # [TCG] # desired setting
[FREE RUN]

[REC RUN]: It will move only when recording.
