5.1 Overview
The 32-bit microcontroller has the following three operating modes. Oscillator start/stop and CPU and peripheral
circuit start/stop switching control functions are provided to support low power consumption.
Operating modes
1. Reset mode (RESET)
2. Normal operation mode (NORMAL)
3. Low power mode
Stop mode (STOP)
Halt mode (HALT)
Sleep mode (SLEEP)

All modes are entered to normal operating mode by resetting the system.
Changing the mode by program is performed by setting the CPUM register.
