Setting

Select [Setting] from the Main Menu (see “How

to operate menu” on page 35) and then select

the item from the Sub Menu.

Language

The language used in the On-Screen Menu is

available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian,

Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, Simplied Chinese,

Polish, Korean, Russian, Swedish, Traditional

Chinese, Arabic, Norwegian and Turkish.

Press ▲▼ to select [Language].1 )

Press ► to display the language dialog 2 )

Press ▲▼ to select the desired item 3 )

and press ► to choose.

Menu Location

Switch the menu location on the display screen.

Change order: Left Top



Right Top



Center



Left Bottom



Right Bottom.

Press ▲▼ to select [Menu Location].1 )

Closed Caption

[Only for NTSC input].

Press ▲▼ to select [Closed Caption].1 )

Off

Do not display Closed Caption.

CC1

Displays the CC1 data.

CC2

Displays the CC2 data.

CC3

Displays the CC3 data.

CC4

Displays the CC4 data.

Note

The closed caption is mainly used in the north America.

This function shows the text information contained in the

image signal. Captions may not be displayed on some

devices or software.

You can select [Closed Caption] only when NTSC signal

is input.

When Menu screen is displayed, the caption will not be

displayed.

Part of Closed caption may not be displayed when high

compensation values are set in [V Keystone].

VGA Out (Standby)

When in standby mode, choose whether to output the

signal from <COMPUTER 1> to <MONITOR OUT>

terminal.

Press ▲▼ to select [VGA Out (Standby)].1 )

Press ► to display the setting dialog 2 )

box.

Press ◄► to switch [On]/[Off].3 )

Output image signal from

<MONITOR OUT> terminal when the

projector is in standby mode.

Off

Image signal from <MONITOR OUT>

terminal can not be output when the

projector is in standby mode.

Test Pattern

Use this function to display built-in test pattern when

installing the projector.

Press ▲▼ to select [Test Pattern].1 )

Press ► to display the setting dialog 2 )

box.

Press ◄► to switch [On]/[Off].3 )

If you want to return the normal mode to the

previous image, set [Test Pattern] to [Off] in the

[Setting] menu.

Display the built-in Test Pattern.

Off

Disable the function.
